Competition: Five copies of new women's football-themed children's book by Priscilla Mante up for grabs

To celebrate the publication of The Dream Team: Jaz Santos vs the World, a new women’s football-themed children’s book by Priscilla Mante, Women in Football has teamed up with Puffin to give five lucky winners the chance to receive a brand new copy as part of the Jaz Santos vs the World UEFA Euros blog tour.

Things begin to go wrong for Jaz when her mum moves out, leaving her family behind. Determined to fix everything, she creates her own girl's football team to be the star her mum always wanted. First, she recruits a brilliant new group of friends to join her team. But after a shaky start, seven very different personalities to manage, and no one at school taking the girls' team seriously, football stardom feels a long way off. Can Jaz keep everyone - and herself - out of trouble long enough to convince her mum to come home?

The Dream Team: Jaz Santos vs the World is the first in a new series about a group of unlikely friends who come together to make their own girl’s football team, proving to everyone they should be taken seriously. Suitable for ages eight and above, Priscilla Mante’s The Dream Team is billed as the new Bend it Like Beckham for Fans of Jacqueline Wilson! Full of fantastic female footballer references as well as ideas and inspiration for starting a football team, the book is perfect for young football fans and football novices alike.
