B is for: Black - catch up on the latest instalment of our important new series of webinars with Jess Creighton

This week Women in Football members gathered for the latest webinar in our important new series with Jess Creighton and her YouTube show, B is for: Black.

Jess was joined by Renée Hector (Watford FC Women), Danielle Carter (Reading FC Women), Rinsola Babajide (Liverpool FC Women), Ini Umotong (Lewes FC Women) and Freda Ayisi (London City Lionesses) to unpack just why there are so few black female players at the top tier of football and what needs to change.

From making pathways into football as accessible as possible to increasing visibility at every level, the hour-long conversation provided a unique insight into what it’s like for black females playing football and what improvements can be made to change the landscape for future generations.

Thank you to Jess and our wonderful panel. You can watch the webinar in full here and we look forward to welcoming you for the next session in this special series, details coming soon.

All our webinars are free for Women in Football members. If you're new to WIF why not join us? You can sign up and become a member for free here
