Women in Football board members Monique Choudhuri and Lungi Macebo along with CEO Jane Purdon were panel guests at a special webinar filmed by Brentford FC for International Women's Day on Monday 8 March.

The trio were joined by Brentford's Head of Operations, Lorna Falconer, Kick it Out chair Sanjay Bhandari and another great friend of WIF, Chris Paouros, co-chair of Spurs LGBT+.

A fascinating discussion, which will be aired across Brentford's social media channels from 8 March, discussed the core issues and blockages they feel explains the lack of gender diversity in the professional game.

The debate also covered whether these barriers make it even harder for black or Asian women to progress in the industry, while highlighting some of the current work initiatives currently in place around gender diversity and suggesting solutions to improve the industry landscape.

More information will follow on Brentford's official website here.
