Kicking off the week of International Women’s Day: Women in Football
head to the Netherlands to launch our unique #WhatIf campaign
into Europe on Tuesday 3 March.
2020 has seen Women in Football hit the road, and fresh from our week in Manchester, we’re now planning our next away fixture!
In a week that marks International Women's Day, we are heading to the Netherlands on 3 March to continue strengthening our working relationship with our friends in Europe and to spread the word about Women in Football's innovative #WhatIf campaign, supported by Barclays.
"This is an outstanding opportunity for us as an organisation, and for #WhatIf as a movement, to make even more of an impact than it already has," said CEO Jane Purdon.
"The fact that representatives from FIFA, UEFA, European clubs, national football governing bodies, blue-chip companies and NGOs have committed to attend and discuss the challenges facing women in European football is a big deal.
"We all share the same passion in regards ensuring there are opportunities for girls and women in and around the football industry, whether that is playing or working in the business.
"To get so many of the game's key figures in the same room to discuss how we can work together and create even more opportunities is very exciting.
"We can't wait to get started, get stuck in and get #WhatIf actively moving in Europe!"
