Fantastic opportunity for Women in Football members

#WhatIf Mishcon de Reya ran a Sports Law Academy for women working in the football industry?

That was Mishcon de Reya’s fantastic #WhatIf pledge – and were delighted to offer our members a chance to book their place on the firm’s prestigious one-day Sports Law Academy, taking place at Mishcon’s London office on Tuesday 2 July.

This event is now fully booked.

For those lucky enough to attend, the day begins at 10am with coffee and registration, followed by a day of sessions delivered by members of the firm.

These sessions are designed to benefit anyone working in the industry and will deliver legal insights into the following subjects:

  • Commercial: Protecting your brand and exploiting commercial opportunities
  • Legal: Understanding the process and cost of legal disputes
  • HR: Considering discrimination, constructive dismissal and the gender pay gap
  • International: Immigration, Brexit and doing business in China
  • Compliance: The law on bribery and corruption and the risks to you personally
  • Football deals: Tax and image rights
  • New business: Understanding the landscape of e-sports

The day will end at 6.30pm with canapes and a drinks reception.

We do have a waiting list in case pf an late cancellations, so if you are interested – whether you work in law or not – please email cassie@womeninfootball.co.uk to be added.
