ASPIRE and Game Changer programmes 2019/20 - apply now

Kick It Out are running two exciting programmes - ASPIRE and Game Changer - that could help to shape your own careers and the future of KIO.

GAME CHANGERS

The Game Changers initiative is a mentoring programme, funded by the UEFA Foundation that will provide professional development opportunities for 12 candidates aged between 18-24, with the aim of identifying and creating the future leaders of football.

The programme will inspire the next generation of football professionals to bring positive change to the sport with regards to equality, inclusion and cohesion, and in turn help to address the underrepresentation of minority groups across the industry.

The programme is supported by the Premier League, who will provide bespoke training sessions at their London Offices to the chosen candidates, on the core learning themes of media, law, governance, commercial, business, project planning, empowerment, leadership, football governance and project planning alongside enhancing your knowledge of equality and inclusion.

Candidates will also receive priority access to Kick It Out’s Raise Your Game mentoring and leadership series, also supported by the Premier League, which sees a number of events organised during the calendar year year that focus on supporting career pathways into football.

ASPIRE YOUTH GROUP

Kick It Out is recruiting new members for ASPIRE, our youth advisory board for 16-21 year olds.

The board helps the organisation better understand the issues affecting young people in the areas of equality and diversity – and how best to address them.  This is an opportunity to play an active role in influencing Kick It Out's work and become an ambassador for football’s leading equality and inclusion charity.

Kick It Out is looking for individuals who are:

  • Passionate about equality
  • Interested in football
  • Willing to share opinions and ideas
  • Looking to become future champions of equality in football

You will gain:

  • An understanding of the role that Kick It Out plays within football
  • Valuable contacts within the game to aid your future career progression
  • An understanding of the benefits of equality and diversity within football
  • Opportunities to attend football events
  • Leadership skills

Please complete the application form by clicking on the link here and return to osei@kickitout.org as soon as possible and by no later than 5pm on Friday 17 May.
