Opportunity for football coaches affiliated to London FA to join the London FA’s Coaches Academy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for football coaches affiliated to London FA to join the London FA’s Coaches Academy (LFCA). This academy is designed to provide participants with bespoke learning opportunities and experiences to facilitate their progress along their coaching journey.
The academy will have no more than 20 members who will work together for a year, under the guidance of London FA CCD Anthony Ferguson, to develop each others’ capacity.
The LFCA will meet bi-monthly across 2019 in a range of settings to help broaden participants experiences. Attendance at all meetings is expected, proposed dates are as follows:
* 09 or 11/03/19 (dependent upon fixtures)
There is no pre-required level for coaches to apply, you must simply be a member of the FA’s Licensed Coaches Club AND affiliated with London FA. Female and disabled coaches or those working in these areas are highly encouraged to apply so that the group is reflective of London football as a whole.
Applications should be made by submitting a CV (no more than 2 pages) and a cover letter answering these two questions:
* Why do you want to be a part of the LFCA?
* What would you bring to the group?
Applications should be made by submitting the above documents via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5pm on Friday 30 November. If you are selected for interview these will be conducted via WebEx week commencing 10 December. Academy selections will be finalised by 20 December. Due to the expected number of applications, if you do not hear from the London FA by 14 December your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Your name may be added to their mailing list for future opportunities.
If there are any questions or queries regarding the application process please contact Marc D’Amici via email at email@example.com or phone on +447533 553 210.
