Rosie and Mollie Kmita set out their #WhatIf target

Carina Ri White poses another question to the panel at our special Theatre Royal Stratford social/networking event.

An informative and enjoyable evening was had by all who attended a special Women in Football social/networking event at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Hosts for the night Carina Ri White and Chloe Shearer were joined by a panel of footballers Rosie and Mollie Kmita, along with Claire Rafferty, who talked about their career journey, discussed the need to get football for girls on the school curriculum and shared their experiences.

The panel also discussed their contribution to our #WhatIf campaign, and West Ham United's Claire told the audience: "My #WhatIf pledge back in May was to ask colleagues Deutsche Bank to take their daughters to FAWSL games and to this day nearly all of them have - and those who haven’t are coming to West Ham v Birmingham City."

Twins Rosie and Mollie threw their backing behind the campaign, adding: "We’d like to continue to inspire the next generation of female players and get into schools and coach young players of the future.

"In the next three months we pledge to go into schools and run training for young girls."

After a fascinating Q&A with WiF members, the panel and attendees settled down to watch a superb performance of 'The Wolves'.
