Sacred Sports Foundation Inc in Saint Lucia are seeking a specialist trainer who would be willing to work technically to up skill their mentors and also help develop a grassroots programme for girls - most of whom have never kicked a ball!

Selection would be based on experience and you would need to have demonstrable cultural compatibility with youth here in the Caribbean. Women are actively encouraged to apply and preference will be given to those with experience coaching girls.

General description
Coaches will be responsible for teaching skills according to programme curriculum. Over the course of the programme, coaches should strive to develop a relationship with the group of children at the location and encourage them through lessons taught and by their own good example.

Major duties

• Conduct introductory clinic sessions with 20-30 children ( young girls mostly ages 11-16), using manual provided as a guideline
• Interact with supervisory staff, especially regarding disciplinary matters
• Develop rapport with children and their parents
• Report attendance
• Attend all coach trainings and meetings

Qualifications

• Football coaching experience is essential
• Ability to relate to people from different backgrounds and motivate young people
• Excellent communications skills
• Prefer a recognised Coaching license
• Be able to successfully pass criminal background check

Remuneration

• Return Flights, Accommodation and a small monthly allowance.
• From January 2019 - 6-12 Months Initial Agreement
