WiF Director Jo Tongue named in Leaders Under 40 Class of 2018

Women in Football Director Jo Tongue - recognised for her outstanding contribution to the sport industry.

Women in Football Director Jo Tongue has been named in the Leaders Under 40 Class of 2018 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the sport industry.

Now in its fourth year, Leaders and Aspire Academy scoured the globe to identify and recognise exceptional individuals who are moving the sport industry forward.

Hundreds of entries were received for the Leaders Under 40 Class of 2018, and after a vigorous judging process Jo, CEO of sports management agency and production company, Tongue Tied, was selected along with other luminaries such as Zarah Al-Kudcy, Commercial Partnerships Formula 1 and Rory Brown, President Bleacher Report.

In her role as CEO of Tongue Tied, Jo is responsible for the careers of many of the highest profile sports and media stars in the UK, and produces some of the best content across the UK’s broadcast networks.

She works tirelessly to increase equality and diversity in both sport and the media. She is a Trustee and Director of The Jason Roberts Foundation, the Michael Carrick Foundation, not forgetting her role as a Director of Women in Football.
