Overview

The role
Assist the Commercial Director, Head of Commercial Projects and other colleagues on Commercial team projects, campaigns and events (e.g. Hall of Fame, ePremier League).
Manage the Commercial corporate gifting process, including ordering stock and managing staff requests.
Supporting the Head of Commercial Projects on Club commercial relationships
This includes responding to Club queries, Club paperwork and preparation/delivery of Club meetings.
Provide administration support across the Partnership, Business Development, Marketing and Commercial Insight departments.
Organise internal and external departmental meetings, producing agendas, supporting papers and minutes as required.
Planning and organisation of team sessions i.e. Commercial away days.

Requirements for the role

The FA Performance Medicine Team brings together full-time and consultant clinicians, aligned to support players and coaches to win major tournaments. Our approach is built on two core pillars: safety as our baseline and performance as our goal.
Safety – We uphold a duty of care to ensure a safe England team environment, with robust systems to prevent serious risks to life or limb, ensure there are no medical barriers to camp attendance, and deliver optimal healthcare and management throughout.
Performance – The purpose of camps is to enable players to develop, thrive and fulfil their potential as England players. This is achieved by inspiring, empowering and developing individuals to maximise availability and deepen their understanding of the physical attributes and behaviours required to succeed in international football. We deliver an inspiring, immersive and educational performance environment, build strong connections with clubs, and work collaboratively to develop and apply a consistent Performance Medicine philosophy.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced physiotherapist to oversee the day-to-day running of the England Professional Development Phase (U17–U20). Working collaboratively across the interdisciplinary support team, the role is accountable for leading, evaluating and developing physiotherapy provision across the PDP pathway.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on either 3rd or 4th September and will be held in person at St George's Park, Staffordshire. Due to the physical nature of the role, interviews must be conducted in person and can only be accommodated on one of these two dates. We are unable to confirm at this stage which of the two dates will be allocated, so we would recommend keeping both dates free for the time being.
What will you be doing?
Working closely with the Lead Men's Physiotherapist, oversee the day-to-day delivery of the England Professional Development Phase (PDP; U17–U20). Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring appropriate consultant staffing for all fixtures within agreed budgets.
Ensuring alignment across all camp communication, logistics and preparation.
Supporting annual planning.
Supporting individual camp planning.
Player status updates and club communications.
Work closely with the Lead Men's Physiotherapist to support the strategic direction of the England PDP.

Work closely with coaching and operations teams to provide ongoing support, ensuring effective off-camp coordination of medical updates and camp planning.

Role summary
The Lead U9-U16s Sports Therapist/Physiotherapist is responsible for leading and delivering the medical provision across the Foundation Phase (FP) and Youth Development Phase (YDP), ensuring players receive high-quality, age-appropriate medical care that supports their health, development and long-term performance. The role encompasses injury prevention, movement and postural screening, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and return-to-play planning, while working collaboratively within the Academy's multidisciplinary team to optimise player availability.
The postholder will provide timely medical updates, maintain accurate clinical records, monitor injury trends through regular audit processes and contribute to the continual development of medical standards, emergency procedures and departmental education. Working closely with Sport Science and the wider Academy staff, the role will use objective data to inform player management decisions and ensure a seamless medical pathway across all Academy age groups, including supporting the Professional Development Phase.
Key job outcomes
• Lead and manage medical provision for the FP-YDP, including age-appropriate injury prevention, movement and postural screening, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.
• Provide weekly updates on player availability and rehabilitation progress to the entire Academy MDT in a timely manner.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual injury audits to identify trends, inform injury prevention strategies, and support continuous improvement in medical provision.
• Liaise with the Lead Academy Physiotherapist to optimise return to play guidelines, movement and postural screening and any other processes required.
• Provide pitch-side emergency care at training and games whilst maintaining a minimum ITMMiF certification.
• Collaborate with the Lead Academy Sport Scientist to evaluate Wellness, Growth & Maturation and GPS data to make objective decisions on a player’s training load and match exposure.
• Ensure regular medical equipment checks are carried out, and contribute to the production, maintenance and stress testing of EAPs.
• Maintain clinical records in line with HCPC and GDPR standards; ensure all notes are logged within 24 hours.
• To ensure all clinical examinations and therapeutic interventions are documented via KitmanLabs and communicated to relevant staff.
• Build and maintain strong interdisciplinary relationships with staff in Performance, Coaching, Education, Player Care, Operations and Recruitment.
• To assist in departmental CPD training programmes.
• Support the PDP medical Programme when required to ensure continuity across age groups.

The Role

Birmingham City FC is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Merchandise Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering the Club’s retail inventory strategy.
This is a senior, hands‑on role with significant responsibility for inventory planning, technical partner management, and stock optimisation across all retail channels. The successful candidate will ensure process discipline, strong cross‑department collaboration, and effective stock management that supports revenue growth while controlling inventory exposure.
About the Role
As Senior Merchandise Manager, you will lead inventory management across the Club, with a primary focus on retail channels. You will manage technical partner product ordering, forecasting, replenishment, and third‑party embellishment processes, ensuring stock availability aligns with commercial targets and fan demand.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help drive revenue growth, protect margin, and ensure operational efficiency across a fast‑paced, high‑profile retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all technical partner product ordering and distribution across the Club, including playing kit, training wear, and accessories, ensuring budgets, critical paths, and delivery timelines are met.
Oversee end‑to‑end third‑party embellishment processes for kit and training wear where required.
Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including Commercial, Partnerships, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to support shared objectives.
Support the Head of Retail with budgeting and forecasting across all categories and multi‑channel retail activity.
Lead forecasting of stock availability and forward ordering across all channels, managing re‑orders to achieve revenue targets while keeping inventory exposure within approved budgets.
Contribute to the development and execution of domestic and international wholesale opportunities where appropriate, increasing brand reach and revenue.
Ensure consistency of process, standards, and ways of working across all retail touchpoints, in line with Club values and guidelines.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Attend relevant trade shows, product previews, and industry events when appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Proven experience in a merchandise management or product‑focused role, ideally within retail or sports‑related environments
Demonstrable experience working with leading sporting brands and technical partners (e.g. Nike, adidas, Puma) as well as white‑label manufacturers and licensees
A strong track record of managing end‑to‑end supply chains
Experience using inventory management systems and reporting tools (e.g. RSS, Medoc, SWAN, Shopify or similar)
Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
Ability to operate confidently in a fast‑paced, commercially focused retail environment
Desirable
Experience working within sports retail and/or a football club kit and merchandise environment
Previous experience leading or developing a team

Job Description
The Independent Football Regulator (IFR) has been established to protect and promote the sustainability of English football, for the benefit of fans and the local communities football clubs serve.
The IFR will help improve financial sustainability of clubs, ensure resilience across the leagues, and safeguard the heritage of English football. It will operate a licensing regime; set corporate governance standards and monitor, protect, and promote financial resilience. It will also enforce compliance with requirements on financial regulation, club ownership and directors, fan engagement, and heritage protection.
The IFR also has powers to prohibit clubs from joining competitions that are not fair or meritocratic, or that threaten the heritage or sustainability of English football.
About the role
We are looking for an Enforcement and Illicit Finance Senior Manager to join the Independent Football Regulator (IFR).
The Enforcement and Illicit Finance function will be an integral part of the Independent Football Regulator, undertaking enforcement investigations into breaches of the Football Governance Act and our rules. The function is also responsible for overseeing and co-ordinating the regulators efforts to reduce the risk of illicit finance within the professional game. The function forms part of the wider legal and enforcement department.
The senior manager will work with the head of department to oversee enforcement activity including developing the enforcement strategy, portfolio, policies and procedures.They will also oversee investigations and lead on high profile case work. The senior manager will also play a leading role in establishing the IFR anti-illicit finance strategy, working with IFR supervisors and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will therefore play a crucial role in developing the function within the new organisation, building capability and the operational processes and controls necessary to ensure successful implementation within the new regulatory framework.
They will need to ensure close working with data, policy, legal and supervision teams so that the enforcment portfolio is effective and coherent and that the IFR’s board is supported to take robust regulatory decisions.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in overseeing regulatory, civil or criminal enforcement investigations
Experience or knowledge of illicit finance/financial crime supervision frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management skills, supported by the ability to communicate to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrating sound judgement and ability to reach evidence-based decisions, balancing a range of considerations and complex sources of information to ensure legally defensible outcomes.
Strong delivery capability, successfully delivering at pace in a complex and high risk project / programme environment.
Ability to provide strong direction and persuasive future vision for the function, setting it up for future success.
A collaborative approach and ability to think creatively about new and issues
Desirable Skills
Understanding of the football industry, including financial regulation and familiarity with the English football pyramid
Expertise in financial crime supervision/policy
