Resourcing & Talent Advisor
We're looking for an experienced Resourcing & Talent Advisor to join our Talent team and help us evolve how we attract and recruit talent across The FA.
This is a varied, hands-on recruitment role with the opportunity to work across the breadth of our organisation. One day you could be recruiting for a high-volume campaign, the next sourcing a hard-to-find specialist or partnering with a senior leader on an executive appointment.
We're looking for more than someone who can manage a recruitment process. We want an excellent recruiter who is curious about the market, knows how to find great people and is keen to try new approaches. You'll combine strong delivery with proactive sourcing, talent pipelining and market insight, while providing a great experience for candidates and hiring managers.
You'll also join us at an exciting point in the development of our Talent function. Our 2026-28 Talent Strategy is focused on becoming more proactive, evidence-led and innovative, with significant opportunities to improve how we use data, technology and AI, build talent pipelines and strengthen our employer brand and assessment approach.
What will you be doing?
Manage end-to-end recruitment across a varied portfolio, from volume campaigns and specialist roles through to senior and executive appointments, delivering a great experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, providing insight and advice on the most effective attraction, sourcing and assessment approaches.
Proactively identify and engage talent through direct sourcing, networking and talent mapping, building pipelines for recurring, specialist and business-critical skills.
Develop creative and inclusive approaches to attraction and employer brand, helping us reach and engage a broad and diverse range of talent.
Use recruitment data, market insight, technology and AI to inform hiring decisions, improve our processes and identify new ways of working.
Contribute to the continued development of Talent Acquisition at The FA, including strengthening our approach to assessment, candidate experience and proactive talent planning.
What are we looking for?
End-to-end recruitment experience gained in-house, within an agency, or a combination of both, with experience recruiting across multiple disciplines and levels, from volume through to specialist and senior appointments.
Strong direct sourcing and talent identification skills, with experience engaging passive candidates and developing pipelines for hard-to-fill or future talent needs.
A consultative approach to stakeholder management, with the credibility to advise hiring managers, understand their challenges and shape effective recruitment solutions.
Experience using a range of attraction channels, recruitment technology and assessment approaches to deliver inclusive and effective hiring.
A curious and innovative approach, with an interest in using data, market insight, technology and AI to improve recruitment outcomes and candidate experience.
Strong judgement, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied recruitment portfolio while maintaining a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Why join us?
This is a great opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys both delivering recruitment and making recruitment better.
You'll have exposure to an unusually broad range of careers and talent markets, while helping us deliver an ambitious transformation of Talent Acquisition at The FA. You'll have scope to bring ideas, test new approaches and help us build stronger pipelines, improve assessment, make better use of technology and create an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring managers.
