B is for: Black - Black Female Players at the Top of Their Game

Date: Tuesday 8 June

Time: 15.00 – 16.00 UK local time

Are black female players welcome in football? Delving into why there are currently just two regular black players in the England Women senior team and none in the Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland squad, what's holding black women players back? What barriers exist within the talent pathway from grassroots to elite level? Is anyone addressing the issue? Are the younger generation of black female players put off with the lack of representation at the top of the game?

Join us to hear from some of those who are at the top of their game and what we could and should be doing to get more representation of black female players on the national and international stage. If you are new to Women in Football, join us and become a member for free.
